Juhu Beach
This beautiful beach in Mumbai, on the west coast of India, is one of the largest and most sought after beaches in India. Attractions of this beach include food stalls, performers and camel and pony rides.

Chowpatty Beach
Situated in the suburbs of the city, and known for its festive atmosphere, food stalls and hustle and bustle. This beach encapsulates the spirit of Mumbai.

Marine Drive
Mumbai's distinctive curving seafront avenue connects the skyscrapers of Nariman Point to the green villas of Malabar Hill. It is also called the Queen's Necklace because of its appearance after dark, when the street lights sparkle around the curve of the bay.

Madh Island Beach
This is a popular location for beach parties and events. The exclusive bungalows add to the urban feel of this beautiful island.

Marve-Manori-Gorai
Not far from Mumbai are three tranquil beaches.
The beach at Marve with hill ranges behind and spectacular sunrises and sunsets is a beautiful, serene getaway.
The beaches at Gorai and Manori, villages ahead of Marve, are popular venues for moonlit beach parties.

Ganapatipule Beach
A well-known place of pilgrimage, Ganapatipule has a serene beach and a 400-year-old temple of Ganesha.

Murud - Janjira
Alibaug is the headquarters of Raigad district and a convenient base from which to visit nearby beaches. A former capital of the Siddis of Janjira, Murud has a beautiful palm-fringed beach.

Bassein
An important shipbuilding area during the 17th century, Bassein - situated 77-km from Mumbai - was ruled by the Portuguese and even today has a Portuguese flavour, along with an alluring beach.

Dahanu-Bordi Beach
Located in Thane district is the enchanting beach of Dahanu-Bordi. The 17 km long coastal stretch has a seemingly unending beach. Dahanu also has many Sapota/chikoo fruit orchids, which are a flavourful attraction.

Harnai Beach
This secluded beach has become popular with local tourists from nearby Mumbai and Pune.

Kihim & Mandwa
Just 20-kms from Alibaug, Mandawa is a serene and restful beach. Kihim beach, 120 km from Mumbai is equally unspoilt and also provides the option of living in tents by the beach.

Vijaydurg - Sindhudurg
These scenic beaches are rich in history. They were once the naval bases of Shivaji, the great Maratha ruler. The nearby fort and temple are historical monuments well worth seeing.
